About Us
Considar Metal Marketing Inc. (CMM Inc.) was formed in May 1999, by combining Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co., Limited's (HBMS) and certain aspects of Considar, Inc.'s marketing operations. HBMS is a Canadian based zinc and copper mining company, which is owned by HudBay Minerals Inc. Considar, Inc. is a major US Trading corporation, which is owned by Traxys, a joint venture that distributes, markets and trades non-ferrous metals and ores and concentrates, as well as ferro-alloys. Traxys is owned 50% by Arcelor and 50% by Umicore, both major European companies. HBMS and Considar, Inc. own 50% each of CMM Inc., as a joint venture company.

Distribution & Service
In order to provide each of our customers with the best service possible, we have an established network of distributors and warehouse facilities in virtually every major centre in the United States and Canada. Should an emergency arise we can deliver to most regions in the United States and Canada within 24 hours. Our carriers are carefully screened and selected to ensure they meet our criteria for: courteous service, on time delivery, excellent safety records and competitive rates.

International Commitment
As an integral part of a global resource operation, CMM Inc. is looking overseas to service both established and emerging markets. We are placing particular emphasis on electronic, ceramic, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical and rubber industries, as we specialize in the high purity grades they require. We are also continuing our commitment to further develop our distribution network that is being established in the Far East and Latin America.
